Jin-Nonprofit Intern Opportunity with ExxonMobil Community Summer Jobs Program


Started in New York 38 years ago, the distinguished ExxonMobil paid internship program arrives in Texas this summer! 75 nonprofit agencies were selected for this year’s Community Summer Jobs Program (CSJP) in Dallas. Covering the entire interns’ salaries and administrative expenses, ExxonMobil founded this program to support nonprofit organizations hiring undergraduate students as summer interns. Yes, Yes, Yes to Safe Sex

The Body Shop, in partnership with MTV Networks International and MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation, recently launched a new campaign challenging young adults to pledge to safe sex in an effort to battle the spread of HIV and AIDS.

The multimedia press release issued on March 23rd announces the launch of the campaign’s interactive website, www.yestosafesex.com and of The Body Shop’s “Tantalising Lip Butter”, which will be sold for a limited run and whose proceeds ($5 of the $8 retail price) go to benefit the Staying Alive Foundation.

The campaign and the website encourage young adults to take responsibility by making a pledge to engage in safe sex and protect themselves and their community from HIV/AIDS. The global nature of the campaign is reflected in the website which is available in 10 languages, and features a graphic world map which tracks the number of pledges from around the world every time a user signs on.

The press release also outlines the multi-faceted elements of the campaign which include a 30-second spot on MTV, a Facebook application, Twitter page, and photo competition on Flickr, in addition to highlighting The Body Shop’s broader pro-social goals and achievements to date.


Disney Reveals Top Secret Details of G-Force Video Game



Disney Interactive Studios announced it will publish the G-Force video game, inspired by the upcoming feature film "G-Force" (G standing for guinea pigs) from Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. The film G-Force, scheduled to release on July 24, 2009, is a comedy adventure in 3-D about the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. In the same month, the film-based video game will hit North American retail outlets. As an extension from the film, the video game will be a fast-paced action platform game featuring a unique team of specially trained guinea pigs that use high-tech gadgets and specialized talents to complete a dangerous secret mission. By the time of launch, G-Force the video game will be available on various game consoles including Wii, Xbox, Play Station, PSP, Nintendo DS, as well as mobile devices.

The Competition Is On: BET's 'SUNDAY BEST' Top 20 Contestants Named


This press release announces the top 20 contestants on BET’s Sunday Best. Similar to American Idol, Sunday Best is a singing competition looking for gospel’s next sensation.
